The Company
Simonds Farsons Cisk p.l.c. was established on 6th April 1948 after a merger between two competing breweries, one of which was jointly owned by the Farrugia family, Simonds, a UK company and the general public and the other by the Marquis John Scicluna. The group is engaged in the brewing, production and sale of beer and branded beverages, the importation and distribution of wines and spirits, and the operation of catering establishments. SFC is the largest beverage manufacturer in Malta.

Use of Proceeds:
The net proceeds from this bond issue was primarily used to fund the redemption of the existing €9.3 million 6.6% Bonds which will be redeemed on 2 November 2010. The balance of the bond proceeds will be used for the general funding purposes of the Farsons Group including the €14 million brewhouse project.
